a beautiful process of becoming.
If you find yourself on a mat at Blooming Breath Yoga, you'll soon discover that we aren't your typical yoga class!
While we love learning new poses, practicing our balance skills and finding our zen through breathwork and meditation, we understand that most young yogis need a different approach to truly benefit from the practice.
At BBY we specialize in active yoga, teaching a mix of poses, flows and movement set to catchy music, games and learning activities. We love sharing the importance of mindfulness with our kiddos and how to handle big emotions in times of stress or anxiety. Every BBY kiddo knows that breathing is a superpower!
In each class, after we've had our fill of stretching and games like Toe-Ga (yoga for your toes!) to build strong bodies and get the wiggles out, we wind down each session with a heaping dose of breathwork and a few minutes of relaxation in our "Secret Garden" meditation to reset ourselves, leaving class happy, calm and connected!

I'm Adriane
I'm a Maryland native, mom of 3 and a true kid-at-heart! I began teaching yoga to children in 2017 after earning my Kids Yoga certification with Kidding Around Yoga. I also hold a Personal and Group Fitness Training certification with NASM where I specialize in fitness for families. I believe yoga plays an important role in promoting health and wellbeing, but I also understand that a traditional yoga class isn't usually the best fit or speed for our kiddos... and that's just where we shine! Through pose instruction set to music, interactive games and crafts, and time spent making new yoga friends, our yogis can soak in every last benefit of yoga, all while having a blast doing it!
